James has spoken at over 70 events and sits on the European Board of the Application Developers Alliance. He mentors at various Startup Accelerators across Europe including TechStars London, and is a Tech London Advocate. James has been recognised a number of times for his contribution to the mobile and technology community, including being named on the TechCityInsider list of ‘the most influential people in UK tech‘ in 2013 and appearing in Revolution Magazine’s “Future 50” list in 2009. James has guest lectured at The University of Oxford Faculty of Continuing Education and Reading University. James is a Chartered Marketer and holds a post graduate diploma in Strategic Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
